It’s funny how things can change from one minute to the next. We got to the clinic this morning with 5 massages booked for the day and then within a couple of minutes had 2 cancellations. Yesterday we had a client who had the day off and wanted to book in and we didn’t have any spaces…. why wasn’t today yesterday…in a manner of speaking-we could have then rung him and he could have got in on the day he wanted.
It just reminds me that we never know what the next few hours will hold for us. Back in 1990 in a few seconds our whole life changed when we had a car accident that affected our lives in an extreme way for many years and even now still has some lingering effects.
It doesn’t have to be in a bad way that our lives can be changed either….there are those few minutes before we meet someone who becomes important in our lives, before we find out we are getting the job,or having a baby or experiencing great joy for whatever reason.
We can look forward to each new day and the things it will bring because life isn’t static-we just never know what will happen next.
There is a certain relief in change, even though it be from bad to worse! As I have often found in traveling in a stagecoach, that; it is often a comfort to shift one’s position, and be bruised in a new place.
